Sound Engineering Individual often assist record producers and musicians to help give their work the sound they are hoping to achieve. They can piece together parts of a song, improve recordings, and/or add synthetic sounds to a track.
Course Objective: The course in Audio Engineering involves the in-depth study of the technical and creative aspects of Sound Recording, Sound Designing, Editing and Mixing. Students are taught the management techniques of sound at speeches, live shows, events which require sound projection to an audience.
Learning Outcome: Introduction to recording studios, Signal flow and installation, Music Production techniques, Modern recording techniques, Microphone types and placement, Principles of sound and acoustics, Mastering techniques, Music industry business.
